Blue state residents are relocating to red states like Florida where conservative values, lower taxes, low crime, freedom and warm weather are the norm. Sarasota and Tampa both ranked in the top five metropolitan areas people moved to in 2021, according to a Dec. 20 report from Zillow, an online real estate marketplace.
